"I am a clinical counselor and mental health professional with a strong foundation in patient care, academia, and criminal justice system. I have trained and worked in esteemed instituitions such as Kasturba Medical College, Wenlock District Hospital and, Yenepoya university and Manasa Trust. I have expertise in psychosocial interviewing,  and individual counseling using evidence based approaches such as, supportive therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed interviewing. 

For almost 3 years, I served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in psychological assessment and psychotherapy techniques. In this role, I guided numerous students through research dissertations headed community outreach initiatives as an active member of the Red Cross. Additionally, as a visiting mental health counselor at St Joseph Engineering College, I worked with young adults in navigating various concerns related to mood and anxiety spectrum and facilitated campus awareness sessions on stress and anxiety management. 

I worked at the intersection of mental health and the criminal justice system during my role at the research centre, Square Circle Clinic, NALSAR (previously known as Project 39A, NLU Delhi). As a Mitigation Associate, I worked extensively in the field and managed multiple stakeholders such as lawyers and prison and medical officials, etc. I prepared mitigation reports for the Supreme Court and High Courts for sentencing purposes in death penalty cases.
